Local authority waste collection commitment survey 2013
Online survey of authorities who have signed up to WRAP’s Waste Collection Commitment
Between 3rd and 24th October 2013, CIPFA Research undertook a survey of 115 local authorities who had signed up to the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) Waste Collection Commitment. The commitment consists of ten council priority areas which highlight to households the standards they should expect of their local authority waste and recycling collection service.
CIPFA was keen to establish which aspects of the commitment authorities are currently focusing on, and why. We were also keen to learn how the commitment has been promoted to local residents, and the outcome of any promotion.
Please download the flyer (see below) to find out more about our findings, including our thoughts on the importance of surveying residents regarding waste collection services.
